ChatGPT answers from the general internet. AfroAI answers from your actual course textbook. Every answer cites the specific section your lecturer teaches from — so the explanation matches what your exam will test, not what a US professor wrote. Generic AI cannot do that.
Which schools and curricula does AfroAI cover?
AfroAI covers all five Nigerian tertiary standards bodies: NUC/CCMAS for universities, NBTE for polytechnics and monotechnics, NCCE for colleges of education, N&MCN for nursing and midwifery schools, and the ABU Zaria IJMB syllabus for IJMB centres. Federal, state, and private institutions are all in scope.

Is AfroAI really free?
Yes. You get 3 questions per day on the Free tier — no credit card, no trial period, no expiry. It stays free as long as you want it.
Do I need to give my card details to sign up?
No. Sign up with your email or Google account. No card is ever asked for on the free tier.
How do I get more than 3 questions per day?

What counts as one question?
Each time you submit a new prompt to the AI tutor, that is one question. Follow-up messages in the same conversation thread also each count as one question. Viewing a textbook chapter or reading a cached answer does not use a question.

Usage, connectivity, and data
Does it work on slow internet or 2G?
AfroAI is designed to work on typical Nigerian mobile data. The interface is light, loads fast, and does not depend on video or heavy assets. A 2G edge connection will be slow but usable.
What happens to my data? Is it private?
Your conversations are not sold to third parties and are not used to train external models. You can request deletion of your data at any time. Read the full details in the privacy policy.
Can my faculty or institution deploy AfroAI for all students?

How are the textbooks built? Who writes them?
AfroAI's curriculum team captures the official minimum standards and approved course materials for each programme — not random web content. The source for each textbook is the relevant accreditation framework (CCMAS, NBTE minimum curriculum, NCCE minimum standards, N&MCN nursing curriculum, or IJMB syllabus). Is using AfroAI exam malpractice?
No. AfroAI is a study aid — like a textbook, a study group, or a private tutor. It explains concepts, works through examples, and cites sources. It does not give you exam questions in advance or sit an exam on your behalf. Using a study tool to understand your course material is the right way to prepare.
